China Glaze Grape Juice + Little Black Stars

Here's another item I received from Born Pretty Store for review. I'm really loving all the charms/studs/rhinestones they sent me... really easy way to add interest to an otherwise plain mani!

Here's a closer look at the stars. The back of the stars is flat as you can hopefully see. Sorry for the picture quality... I had a hard time getting my camera to focus on them since they're so tiny!

To stick on the studs I applied top coat, waited until it was about half dry, and then stuck on the studs. I found it easiest to pick up the studs with my finger (like you would pick up a contact lens) and then touch my semi-wet nail to the stud (to avoid accidentally dropping the stud in the wrong spot). Since the back is flat you can slide it around a bit if you need to adjust though. I finished by applying another coat of top coat seal in the stars. Here is the link if you are interested in purchasing some of these stars. :) They come in a pack with other charms and are a good value... 400 pieces in total for $4.21! Don't forget to use my code SL10K31 for 10% off!

Now onto the polish... 3 coats of Grape Juice. It was easy to work with. The formula was thick but in a way that made it easier to control. Self leveled nicely. Love the medium purple with silver shimmer... the color may not be that unique but the finish is definitely different and makes it stand out! :)
